2012 National Year of Reading

Did you know that there are 46% of Australians who can't read newspapers; follow a recipe; make sense of timetables, or understand the instructions on a medicine bottle? As part of the 2012 National Year of Reading SWSI is participating in a coordinated activity to raise awareness through a Frequent Reader campaign.
During July and August borrowers will be able to enter a lucky draw for donated prizes consisting of Movie tickets, USB flash drives and various others. Winners will be notified by phone and need not be present at the draw.
